NOTICE OF ELECTION

Claiborne County will hold a County General Election and State Primary on Thursday August 4, 2022.

The Claiborne County General Election will consist of the following offices:

County Court Clerk

Trustee

Register of Deeds

School Board Member
districts 2; 3; 5 & 6

Persons interested in running for election for one of the above positions may pick up qualifying petitions at the Claiborne County Election Commission Office. The first day Qualifying Petitions can be issued is February 7, 2022. Our office is located at 1802 Main Street in Tazewell. We are open from 8:30am until 4:30pm Monday through Friday. We are closed for all county and state holidays. The qualifying deadline for the above election is NOON on April 7, 2022.
